We spent our Friday night at the men's volleyball game. Dempsey loved
it she was so excited.

been carrying it all over the house
sucking on it {dirt and all}
and taking little raw bites she gets this from her father

Although she was born here and lives here,

the potato fields will always be a part of her...

Ants and Things

Some say that Ants are the hardest working of all creatures. They symbolize Diligence, Industry, Community, Remarkable Strength, and Success. An Ant can lift objects 5-10 times it's weight. What an incredible feat! However, this incredible feat is no greater or more awe inspiring than the strength of a mother, wife, and friend. I see a diligence in God, Family, and Love. I see industry in the way she Conceives, Envisions, and Imagines. I see community in her wilingness and desire to Give, Assist, and Uplift. I see remarkable strength in her Marriage, and Will to Live. Success can be found in all aspects of her life. Though they may not be seen at first or perhaps not seen at all by her or others, there are successes that follow her through all. She is the hardest working creature. It is not the Ant, but my Wife.

Let the Good Times Roll

Big News This last week Dempsey Rae took her FIRST steps!
We wondered if her tiny feet would ever be able to hold up that chubby body,
and apparently it can.
She is walking at 9 months!

2nd big news

She got her first toofy {that's what we call it}

She is taking such great care of it

everyday by sucking on it with her KISS toothbrush.

It's a pretty cute little toofy.

18.2 lbs

40th percentile for weight

20th for height
25th for brain size

The Other day
I went into the Kitchen to find this peeking out from under the table

But at least

she found something healthy to eat while she was down there
And then she found something unhealthy{chocolate chip}

But at least she was having fun

ps I really do clean my floor at least once a day

We have been practicing using the sippy cup

we don't really drink out of it

We just chew on the spout

Everynight before bed we let her run wild in the birthday suit,

it's pretty much her favorite time of day..... I'm a tad bit worried for when

she figures out how to undress herself..

Bangs

Yes, it's time for Dempsey's first bangs. Kinda. She came to the salon with chris while he a haircut, and I decided she needed a bang trim. ( When straight they are down past her eyes)

However

Chris informed me that we did not have our camera

and we would not be giving Dempsey her first "haircut" without it,

So I curled them instead

I think she looks pretty darn cute with curled bangs.
Yes I know they are alittle poofy and 80's flashbackish but still......

Dempsey always trys to eat everthing she can get get her little hands on,

apparently even me!
