First things first: Mr Ed
Okay, its not the real Mr. Ed, but a trip to Idaho woudn't be complete, for Dempsey, without feeding Grandpa's Horses
This picture is so typical
Kapp- Mr. Happy Go Lucky
Dempsey- Miss Sad, Forlorn, Woa is me
{ I think she gets that from her father}
I was alittle freaked out because the horses mouth was right by my Rear and I just knew he was waiting to take a big bite out of it
I'm not paranoid
Horses do that all the time, Okay
Grandpa and the Horses=Dempsey's Heaven
The Riot Zone
We love this place, they have bumper boats, go carts, mini golf inflatables, and
THE BUCKAROO
It doesn't get any better than the buckaroo.
A giant teetertotter that goes up in the air and you try to ring a bell
Me and Lacie have a vicious rivalry going over this, so I was pretty pumped to put her in her place
{Me gettin saddled in}
It was a good fight but I lost 1:2
I really wanted Lacie to feel what it was like to win, so I gave her the extra point
But I probably won't be so generous next time
Chris tied Jeremy 1:1
Here he is going for a victory bell
Good Game, Good Game
Inflatables
Dempsey loved playing on these with Kaycia.
It's sad we live so far away because these two play so well together.
The Bumper Boats
but on the bright side she ended up with a shoeful of gasolean all over her leg due to our leaky engine. That was super fun to clean off
Kapplan was super excited for his ride, and kept telling Chris to go faster. He's a little daredevil.
We also rode the gocart, {no pic, tear} and we have no pictures because I was strapping Dempsey, who was kicking and screaming, into the car. Yes I was that mother, She screamed and fought while the man made sure I had the dumb seatbelt right, and everyone else stared at me and thought me an idiot mother who should just let the poor little girl out of the car. However, I knew, that once we got going she would LOVE it. And I was right, of course. She did love it! So I am glad to say that I didn't
scar her too much!
HIESE
These are some awesome Hot Springs with a big pool and a slide called "The Dragon" I've wanted to go here for awhile because we have pics of Chris as a little boy swimming here and the water looks so blue.
I love this pic of them coming out of the slide, Chris is a Pro. Everytime I take Dempsey down a slide, we both totally faceplant it. Poor Girl
And she loved it!!
Kapp didnt really get in on the action too much, the water was a tad bit to cold for him.
So he laid out, worked on his tan, under Uncle Taylors Hat
Birch Creek Fishing
As with most days in our life, Dempsey started the day with clothes on and then ended like this....
for some reason she likes to be nakey
The cute girl, {and cute dad} with her fish
she "reeled it in"
And I just love how she likes to touch fish
and isn't afraid
We had a picnic
Nothing like a relaxing day with family in the beautiful countryside
even Kapp agreed.
I always say we get the best of both worlds visiting up there and living down here
Can't wait till next summer...
