Patsy Walker

This past week, Chris' grandma passed away, so we went up to Idaho for the funeral. Chris had the honor of speaking at the funeral, and as always, did an excellent job. He gave a wonderful
tribute.

She left a wonderful legacy to all of us to follow, a hard worker, great mother, wife, a great example to us all. More importantly she was strong in the gospel, and I think it is so sweet that she gets to be with her husband now for all eternity. I hope I can be like her in many ways.

Twenty Fourth of July

For the 24th of July, we had a barbeque with my family at the park behind our house..... however due to the 104 degree temp outside we moved our party indoors after we ate.

Roasting marshmellows on the stove is just as good as on the fire!

There's No Place Like Home

My sister Rashlle made Dempsey three adorable outfits and this is one of them.

Don't mind the bed hair, we took this picure right after she woke up

Now all she needs are ruby slippers......

Happy Little SOul

Dempsey is such a happy little soul.... She loves to smile and she is starting to "talk" to us! I love it!
How can I say no to this face?

Blessing Day

Last Sunday was Dempseys Blessing..... She looked so cute, her dress wouldn't fit into her carseat so we had to put the dress on when we got to the church and take it off when we left! I had a talk with her before and told her if she was good she could get a new pair of shoes......... She Didn't even make a PEEP! She must love shoes....
My wonderfully talented mother made her beautiful dress, with the same french lace that was used on my wedding dress. My mom helped me so much, I owe you big time. Thanks mom, I love you.
Chris's family came down from Idaho and we had a great time with them the whole weekend.
Obviously Dempsey is tired of being passed around, and having outfit changes in this picture......... but Elisse made her this adorable little kImono for her to wear after the blessing.
It was a great day and we so grateful to all our family and friends that were able to come, we love you all!

WE LOve Our HAIR

Dempseys First PigTails!
I tried to put them in the other day and she cried and cried, so I tried putting them in while she was sleeping and she didn't make a peep. I love how much hair she has, it is so fun to play with.

4th of July

This is my absolutely FaVORITE holiday! I love our country, and am so grateful to all the people who dedicate their lives to protecting us! We are so blessed!

THIS year we had chris's family down, so it was so nice to be able to be with both of our families.

First on the agenda: Balloons. They are supposed to lift off at 6:30 am, we however, didn't wake up till 6:00 am. THerefore we didn't quite make it. We did see them lift off from the freeway at least. It was a valiant effort!
Then we headed over to the parade..... And we sat in the best spot because we got our picture in the Daily Herald! I can't figure out how to get the picture on, but as soon as I do, I'll post it.

Us at the parade- Dempsey did pretty good, she slept through most of it.

..........Until the end when she had enough of the heat, noisy cannons, and was hungry

Then we had a barbeque, took naps and sat on the steps of the marriott center to watch the FireWorks...........

Dempsey loved the Fireworks.......... SHe just sat and watched and when there was a break she would get fussy........ until they started up again. It was so cute!
