Little Fishy

So the 1st time we took Dempsey swimming this summer, let's just say, it was pretty tramatic. To save ourselves a summer long escapade of crying, sobbing, hating swimming, I signed her up for a parent-n-tot swim class. Basically you go, do some kicks, blow bubbles, get used to the water. The first lesson she was alittle aprehensive, but after she saw the bath toys, she loved it.{Thank Goodness for rubber duckies}Practicing her bobsPracticing her kicksGraduation Day

She made it through the two week class

and now she loves the pool!

Happy Fathers Day

Dempsey and I, both got so dang lucky the husband/dad/grandpa department. We are surrounded by good men who are amazing examples and caretakers.

Grandpa's Farm

Last weekend we went to Idaho to see our super cute new nephew, Taidg. While we were there grandpa took Dempsey out to see his 2 day old baby horse. I've never seen such a fresh baby horse, I was surprised how cute they are.Dempsey's favorite video is the baby einstien Farm Animals,

So she loved going out to meet the horseys

And she love, love, loves her Grandpa Nukaya

We are so lucky, We get to live in the city, then visit the country

We get the best of both worlds.

We did it

About 6 months ago,

Rashelle invited me to start swimming with some of her friends who were training for a Triathlon. I didn't even know how to swim, but she assured me she would show me how. So I decided to hop on the bandwagon, and to train for the triathlon.

Last saturday, after months of preparation, sweat, tears, nerves....

We Did It!

It was so nice to be coming down the road
and see this bunch of green people jumping up and down.
We love our family.
This truly was such an amazing experience for me. I never in a million years thought I could do something like this, and it felt so good to be able to accomplish it.

Afterwards, Chris and Dempsey took me out

to a celebratory dinner at Maddox's Steak house

Then she sat by Chris and drank a bunch of water.Thanks my sweet little family, for your love and support. I'm a Lucky girl.
