You're My Home: Birthday

Our beautiful 4 year old!!

I still can't believe this as I type, that our sweet baby girl is 4!!

Four is a great age, full of so much excitement and fun.

We started off the day with a birthday breakfast of rainbow pancakes,

strawberries, eggs, and bunny milk. Rainbow pancakes are a favorite in our family, so everytime we make pancakes we at least do one color and on the really ambitious days we do lots of colors.

We opened some presents, new dresses and shoes. D highly prefers dresses over pants so I've pretty much stopped buying any pants for her. She truely is a princess at heart, and loves all things girly.

Grandpa Nukaya drove all the way down from Idaho to surprise D on her birthday morning. She was so excited. She told me a few days prior that she was sad that our "far away grandpa" couldn't come for her birthday, so needless to say it was a pretty sweet treat to have him come.

After breakfast we opend a few presents.

The favorite was definately the
Tangled wedding dress.
Anything princess is a winner

After some presents D had to go to a ballet recital rehersal,

and on the way we stopped and got her glitter toes done. After ballet D chose to eat lunch at McDonalds, then we headed home to a sweet surprise

Rapunzel

had left her castle and come to visit D on her birthday!

D got to spend the afternoon with Rapunzel all to herself and

she loved every second of it!

D had a super fun time, and was sad when punzel

( that's what she calls her)

had to leave in her magical carriage that nobody can see

to go back to castle and Flynn Rider,

whom D also wanted to meet.

She decided to eat dinner at Chick Fila, then we went home to more presents, a Bike,

which we thought she just would know how to ride since she does great riding around walmart,

but first thing she hops on and takes off, goes around the corner and totally biffs it.

She didn't get hurt, so it was pretty hilarious to watch. So after a brief lesson on how to use brakes she was off and riding like a pro. K had to get in on the action also on his scooter.
