How did we survive?

Before the Bumbo every morning would be a battle as I would attempt to do Dempseys hair, which would end in a wrestling match and usually tears and bloodshed

She just sits in her Bumbo looking in the mirror, like an angel.

First Night

It was a monumental night for Dempsey, She slept through the night 930-630, in her own crib!! You may not think this is a big deal, but Dempsey has never liked sleeping in her crib, so for us it was HUGE! Since we brought her home from the hospital the only place she would sleep was with us, She wouldn't even sleep in the bassinet, I was begining to wonder why we even bought her a crib in the first place. So hopefully this is the start of something new....

Trip to Idaho #1

Last weekend we made a trip up to Idaho for Chris's good friend, Pete's wedding. It was alot of fun to see our Idahoan friends and chris's buddies from High School. This is Logan and Sara and their cute little boy Bensen.

Dempsey was an angel! We started at 9am (I did the brides hair) and didn't get home till 930pm. She didn't get fussy hardly at all. It was such a beautiful wedding, they live on a river and had a dinner in a big white tent. Idaho really is a pretty place.

Vintage Dempsey

I've found a new pasttime, it's called, "Going to DI (Deseret Industries) and finding Vintage Clothes for dempsey." I've found some pretty cool pieces, at least I think their cool and this is the latest.

These are just some random pictures of our sweet Dempsey. She will be 15 weeks tomorrow..... Crazy! She is changing so fast, and her cute little personality is shining through. We love it!

I can't seem to get enough of her with pigtails in her hair.... I think it's the cutest thing ever!

Watching tv with dad,
she LOVES watching tv, we took her to a movie the other night, and she sat a straight hour just staring at the screen.

She wasn't very happy here, but I was trying to get a picture of thier matching church outfits.

WE love her!! What a gift, having her in our home.

Her latest tricks are, rolling over both ways now, and chris is sure she will take off crawling any day now. She is such a little chatterbox.... She talks and talks and talks to anyone who is willing to listen.

Lagoon

Dempseys first trip to Lagoon....

She was a CHAMP!!!

She took a 3hour nap, sleeping through all the loud people, trian whistles, and noisy rollercoasters! She even rode on two rides, the Train and the Sky Tram. I'm not sure which she liked best, probably the train because I was feeding her on that one.... She slept through the sky tram, pretty exciting! I'm excited for next year when she can go on the kiddie rides.

First Swim

We went up to Layton for the Annual Lines Family Reunion, so Dempsey got to go for her first swim, sort of....... but doesn't she look cute in her swim suit?

I got in and the water was alittle nippy...... being the nice mom that I am, I only made her get in for just a sec while we took a quick picture.
She was a little startled not quite sure what was happening..... oh well, maybe next summer!
